How to get the app

GhostFirewall is not listed on Google Play because our privacy model conflicts with Play Store policies that require certain tracking integrations.

To request a copy of the app, please contact us. We will send you the APK file directly.

Installation requirements

Android: Version 8.0 (Oreo) or newer
Storage: Approximately 10 MB free space
Permissions: VPN, SMS, Notification Access, and Usage Access (granted during setup)
Root: Not required

Installation steps

Enable install from unknown sources in Android settings (if prompted)
Open the APK file you received and confirm install
Allow VPN, SMS, and notification permissions when asked
Start protection from the app home screen

After installation

Once installed, open GhostFirewall and follow the setup flow. The app will guide you through granting the permissions it needs to block gambling sites, filter notifications, and protect your privacy.
