App dashboard guide

Home screen (in the app)

After you install and open GhostFirewall, the main screen shows:

• Protection status: Whether the VPN shield is active and gambling blocking is on.
• SOVEREIGN: SYSTEM X/Y: How many system layers are enabled (device admin, accessibility, notifications, usage access, SMS, VPN).
• Protection level line: Short summary of what is active (VPN only, or full system control).
• Gambling guard: Background check that blocks gambling apps when the feature is enabled in settings.

Tap Restore full system control in Settings if X/Y is below full and you want the previous aggressive setup flow (opens each Android permission screen in sequence).

Statistics & logs

• Block counts: Anonymous counters stored only on the device (domains, SMS, notifications).
• Debug build: Exports an NDJSON log to Downloads for support (session id in filename).
• No cloud dashboard: We do not upload your browsing or SMS to a GhostFirewall server for a web view.

Infrastructure monitoring (operators)

Infrastructure metrics are separate from the consumer app and may be available behind authentication. They are not part of the public GhostFirewall marketing site.
